So, this is my website.
I just want an honest thought here – I am by no means a jeweller, a gemologist, engineer or anyone connected to any sort of company. I am a person who has stumbled into this whole situation because I wanted to sell some auctions pieces and then try recoup some of my debt. We all have some kind of life goal and this initial idea didn’t start with a goal – I just wanted to not be so broke. I’m sorry to disappoint you.
Unfortunately for me – I have a creative mind. It started as a simple money recoup and has somehow evolved to designing (currently three) rings and a pendant. I have learnt so many things along the way – and I just thought I should share them:
I wanted to also document my use of AI. I see so many people including myself being against AI. I did not think it could help creative individuals – this is coming from someone who graduated university with a graphic design degree. Let’s not pretend that unless you are a true vector logo creator – this is a dying trade because of the widespread use of AI. Everyone now thinks they can pop a prompt and disregard the pixels / printing and application specialities.
Humans learn. We grow. We implement. As humans we have a natural curiosity to how things work. Now, AI can be considered a lazy route to success, but it is how you use the technology and instead of looking for answers – start asking questions.
I feel like as an individual with an idea, I have been able to use AI to do something which I could never of been able to achieve before. With the use of online resources like: YouTube, ChatGPT, Gemini, Meshai, my project here is to not only show what curiosity can lead to, but as long as the individual can use the right resources, creativity and independent thought they can overcome traditional barriers.
The new technology is great for solving problems, but it can only solve what has been put in front of it. It is the humans ability to foresee potential issues, or new solutions with the information we have learnt from.
I want to demonstrate an honest experiment:
How far can I go, with no knowledge of the subject?
This is what this website will hopefully show – and if you’re interested, I hope you enjoy what I post.
Kind regards
